This Pure DAB shower radio is a great addition to the bathroom. The actual model is called the Pure One Mini, it has not been designed specifically to go in the shower  as it isn’t waterproof enough. It can however handle a steamy bathroom, just don’t think it can stand a waterfall or a dunk it bath, it won’t! We have researched the market and this is the closest thing we have found to a dab shower radio. When one is made we will feature it here on this site that’s for certain!

The Pure One mini is a portable DAB radio and the white version is a good match to many bathrooms the sound from the tiny speaker is loud enough to carry even across the most spacious of bathrooms. This portable radio offers all the DAB stations you would expect and also allows you to tune to ordinary FM stations. You can listen 6music, talksport, 5 live and XFM in perfect audible sound quality. If you are tired of the radio you can also plugin your iphone ipod or mp3 player to listen to your own music, you will need a jack lead which is available at most electrical stores and on amazon too. As well as white the radio also comes in a pretty pink and a rather stylish black to suit your bathroom.

Pure One Mini DAB Radio Reviews

Users have stated that the only real negative about the radio is the fact you have to buy a battery pack at £20 if you want to make the device portable. It’s called the PURE ChargePAK system not ideal but does mean you don’t have to spend lots of money on batteries over the coming years. DAB radios are resource heavy and would drain your typical AA battery very quickly so maybe its a good thing. Also undoubtedly better for the environment. is a must just don’t get it wet. Another alternative radio is the PURE ONE Classic which is a bigger more sturdy unit.
